Cancellations

As appointments are held specifically for you, it is important that clients attend their allocated appointments or provide sufficient notice to cancel. If you are unable to make an appointment, or you wish to change the time or date, it is asked that your provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. To ensure that you do not forget an appointment, we send a reminder text/ email before your appointment. Due to cancellations and no shows having a large financial impact on a small business, failure to provide 48 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment will result in a cancellation fee totalling to 50% of the service total.  Failure to provide 12 hours notice to cancel will result in a cancellation/ rescheduling  fee of 100% of the service cost. Failing to show without notice will result in a cancellation/ rescheduling fee of 100% of the service cost.  We understand that unavoidable circumstances can arise, and in the case of an emergency we will do our best to accommodate and work with you, however please do understand that this is our livelihood and cancellations have a large impact on our business. All Training courses require at least 14 days notice to request a change of date and are totally non refundable.

Please ensure that you do not come to an appointment unwell. If you fail to reschedule and attend the appointment unwell, you will be charged the full amount of the service and turned away. In the case on unexpectedly becoming unwell, please gives as must notice as possible to cancel or change your appointment. Failure to provide more than 48 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of the total service cost. Thank you for understanding that this is our livelihood, how we pay our bills, and our full time jobs.   If you cancel the appointment due to Covid, whether you are isolating or have tested positive, and the cancellation is within 24 hours of the appointment, the cancellation fee will still occur. Unfortunately due to the current times & the financial impact Covid cancellations are going to have on all small businesses - our cancellation policy applies to all appointments affected by sickness.

A credit/debit card is held on file in case of a late cancellation/ no show. Please note, we can not view or access your card details, and can and will only charge for this reason.

Important

We are fully qualified in all treatments and services that we offer. If you wish to see a copy of our relevant qualifications, please submit a request by email. We have also passed all council regulations and carry a council license. We are professionals, and therefore it is the clients responsibility to ensure that all old makeup residue is removed prior to your appointment. Arriving to your appointment with makeup residue on the lashes or brows will take away valuable application time. Arriving with dirty lashes will also affect your retention. Arriving with old product on your nails without notifying us may not allow us enough time to complete your treatment. You must be open and honest during all consultations we have with you.

​We may work over foreign work. Please ket us know if this is the case, we may need to complete a removal and reapplication if we are not happy with the standard of work.  If you have any existing lash extensions when booking a new set, please schedule a removal add on also. There is a fee for this. Please do not forget to add a removal if needed, we need to allocate enough time to your booking for this add on. If you have existing nail polish, gel nails or nail extensions on - please schedule a removal add on also. There is a fee for this.  Please do not attend the appointment with nail polish on, nail polish is to be removed before the appointment. We do not remove acrylic or SNS.

Please note that any reactions to treatments are not foreseeable by Blended Beauty's and Blended By Abi.  Unfortunately, while allergic reactions are very rare, there is always a risk. Whilst care is taken, no refunds will be issued for reactions. We will offer a free removal of product is possible if a reaction occurs. Please contact the salon immediately if you become aware of allergic reaction so we can assist you as quickly as possible. You can become allergic to the ingredients in the products at any time, if you need to seek medical advice, you must do so and at your own expense.

​Clients age 16 or under will require parental consent for all treatments, no exceptions. 

We will not tolerate any rude, disrespectful or anti social behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse a service to any person.

All Laybuy sales will incur a 5.75% surcharge. All treatments must be paid for before exiting the premise.

While we love your little ones, please only bring them if you are able to supervise them. If your eyes are to be closed for the treatment, please leave the little ones with a guardian. We have sharp tools, hot wax and chemicals spread throughout the salon, and while we wish we could accommodate children in those- it is unsafe to do so. Please also do not bring your little ones to any cosmetic tattoo appointments, please attend these appointments alone.

Appointments

Treatments are by appointment only. Please give 48 hours notice to cancel or change an appointment. Clients who fail to show for an appointment without any notice, will be charged 100% of the service charge before a new appointment can be booked. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service fee. Changes to the appointment or cancellations within 12 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% service fee. Arriving late to your appointment will interfere with your treatment, all appointments will end at their scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we may not be able to complete your appointment, in this case the any fees paid will be lost and the full treatment balance will be due. Thank you for understanding that our time is valuable. We have set opening hours - please see our contact page for opening hours. A non refundable booking fee is required for some bookings. If the appointment is rescheduled or cancelled outside of the 48 hour time period before the booking, the booking fee will be credited to your account and help for 12 months. If the booking is rescheduled or cancelled within the 48 hour time frame of the appointment, the cancellation fee will apply. No exceptions. All booking fees are non refundable. All training courses are final sale.

Consultation

Before your first treatment you will complete a verbal consultation with your technician. It’s vital we know about any medication or allergies you may have, please use this time to advise us of any concerns, and prior to each appointment, notify us of any changes. Aftercare advice is given at the end of your treatment. It is your responsibility to adhere to this advice, if you disregard this information it is at your own risk. Treatments for clients under the age of 16 require parental consent.

Refunds

Treatments are an investment of time, money, and care on our client and staff’s behalf.   We will make every effort to satisfy a client’s expectations and troubleshoot after care dilemmas diligently. We have a no refund policy. If an appointment is cancelled after a payment has been made and outside of the 48 hours cancellation policy, an account credit will be issued for the account balance, this will be valid for 12 months.   If you are unhappy with a service please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. All training courses are final sale. 

We offer a 3 day garuntee on lash and nail services.

Booking fees are completely non refundable. If more than 48 hours notice is given, the appointment may be rescheduled, or a voucher for the amount paid will be issued. If less than 48 hours notice is given, the booking fee is lost. 

Training Courses

There is a non-refundable fee payable to secure the booking. The remaining balance of the workshop is due 14 days prior to the workshop commencement date. All balances paid are totally non refundable. Once your payment is made in full you will receive an online manual via email to learn and read in your own time before the course starts. A change of date may be requested if it is more than 14 days until the course, approval is at the discretion of Blended Beauty. No more than one change of date is permitted. If you are unable to attend the practical course for any reason, we will be unable to provide any refund or transfer the training to another date. All Training courses are non refundable, cannot be exchanged and are final sale in all cases. When enrolling with us, it is deemed you have read and understood the  terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them and wish to undertake training workshops with Blended Beauty. 

Gift Vouchers 

Our gift cards are issued by Blended Beauty These have no value until activated at the time of purchase. Our gift cards can be used for the purchase of Products or treatments but are not available to use online. Gift Cards may not be returned, redeemed for cash or transferred.  Any unused value on a gift card expires one year after the date of issue. To use, you must present the Gift Card for full or part payment at the time of purchase. The amount of any purchase will be deducted from the card. To check your balance and expiry, please contact us in clinic. Please take care of your Gift Card as if it were cash; it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. 

All team members working at Blended Beauty are sole traders and are self employed. They are not employed by Blended Beauty.
